What is the technical name for "a safety notice and brief description of the possible hazards of a product or service"?
I would like to inform the user on the site of some hazards of the system he is using. What would be the appropriate way to refer to such warnings?
The example I have in mind is the common "Protection against malicious HTML and JavaScript" dialog that pops up when you open some web pages. The dialog reads:
Warning! JavaScript, HTML, or other client-side scripts are enabled. Please review this page to see how your system will be affected.
The message is accompanied by a link to a reference that briefly describes the possible hazards of the script.
Another example is that when my workplace requires me to turn on or off any on-board equipment before I am allowed to enter the room. I am then greeted with a message, a warning that in addition to the possible hazards of the equipment, that anyone walking into the room will be struck by lightning and will die an agonizing death from their terrible burns.
I am not looking for a list of possible hazards. Just some name I can give to that text and link.
A:
Generally, such warnings are called Warning messages.
I don't know the reason for you using a different word for that particular dialog.
For example, these are part of a browser's standard page:
Warning: JavaScript is currently disabled.

In this case, I guess that you can use "Warning message".
Your workplace requiring you to turn off equipment before entering the room is another example, so we can say that it's a warning.
But you should be careful because the phrase "safety notice" also means any kind of warning.
There's a discussion about it here.
The term "safety notice" is often used in a rather broad way to describe
anything that could be termed a "warning", and is generally considered
to be misleading.
